Anyone else disappointed with Grand Lake being the first stop on the “tentative” Ozark BFL schedule?
There will be a lot of extra boats who fish the Okie division in it. The Okie division fishes this lake twice already… it’s basically an extra tournament for the local sticks. I get it, to be the best you have to beat the best, but I don’t see any other BFL trails coming to LOZ for division tournaments. It also hurts the co-anglers who want to fish the division. With all the extra boaters, there will be a lot of co-anglers who won’t be able to fish the next stop at LOZ as the boat count will fall off.
I also really look forward to fishing Table Rock in the early spring. While the size isn’t the same as previous years, there are still a lot of fish to be caught.
The reason for the post is to see if any other anglers feel the same way? I figured if we had enough supporters, we could bring this up to Mark and see if we can get Table Rock or Bull Shoals put on the schedule instead (or LOZ again….. joking).
Thanks,
Brian Hansen
It was out on Facebook in the TH Marine BFL group, but don’t see it anymore.
I believe the schedule was Grand Lake in March, LOZ twice in April, Truman in June, and then LOZ September, but could have the months mixed up.
