Mexico Bassmasters are looking for members. We are a small club comprised of members from Jefferson City, Columbia, Mokane, Holts Summit, Mexico, Fulton, Osage Beach and surrounding areas. We fish draw tournaments with an emphasis on catch and release and fish LOZ at least 2-3 times per year. We also fish lakes such as Mark Twain, Truman, Thomas Hill, and multiple smaller lakes here in central Missouri. Anyone interested in fishing tournaments or just simply want to learn more about the sport is encouraged to join. Regardless if you’ve got a boat or not. I’ve personally learned a lot just in the last year of fishing and am already looking forward to our first tournament on March 8th. I anyone interested in joining a central Missouri bass club should consider joining Mexico Bassmasters. We’re a group of guys from the Jeff City/ Columbia area who enjoy the challenge of tournament fishing and promote catch & release and sportsmanship. We fish 8+ draw tournaments per year at multiple central MO lakes including Lake of the Ozarks. Anyone interested fishing in a club or interested in getting into tournament fishing is encouraged to join. As member of our club you would also have the opportunity to fish in the MO BASS Nation state tournament. Always dreamed of fishing in the classic? Mexico Bassmasters will be holding there first meeting of 2015 on February 3, 2015 @ Bass Pro in Columbia, MO @ 7:00pm. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend. If any questions or if you need directions contact Brian @ 573-291-2027.
Mexico Bassmasters will be hosting a buddy bass open tournament on June 19th. Entry fee is $65 per boat which includes $5 big bass entry. Payout will be 70% to the field and will pay 1 position for every 4 boats. We’ll be launching from PB2 and tournent hours will be 7pm-1am.
