Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I fished the mid Osage area from the 20-21mm from 4:00PM – 8:00PM. I only worked the very backs of the coves where the creek channel had water running into the lake at the backs of the coves, including fishing into the this debris that has built up from the creek run off. All fish caught were in 1′-4′ of water. I lost a couple of good fish on the sweet beaver under the debris field. My best keeper was a 3.11 pounder that was caught on the Zara Spook around a laydown in the back of a cove. It seems that the fish in the backs of coves are not too particular about the bait as I caught fish 6 bass on 4 different baits. My friend and fishing guide, Jack Uxa of Jacks Guide Service reported a good bite today on a black backed jerk bait. |
