Fishing Notes |

I had the privilege today to fish with my nephews Jimmy and Andy. It was quite entertaining as these 2 have many fishing stories as they spend alot of time fishing small lakes and rivers in Missouri. Andy is in graduate school and is currently doing studies on eels in Missouri rivers. Jimmy is is in high school and just like the rest of us, he is ate up with bass fishing. The boat traffic was heavy which made navigating a bit challenging but managed to find some banks with fish in the Glaize. We fished between 8:30 and 11:30am and caught several fish. Most of the bites were in 10-15 feet of water on the banks we were fishing. I fished an hour in the evening with a couple shorts, a keeper and nice one that came off on the jig on the shaded side of docks. |
