Fishing Notes

Today Ben and I got at it at about 8:30am, due to a slow bite yesterday our goal today was to sink brush in the morning then fish in the afternoon. The brushing went well we were able to sink some piles in places where the fish should be year round. Days like this in December are really good days to put the poles down and put some work in!! The bite just hasn’t been to consistent as of late so putting out brush will only better your chance of catching more and bigger fish.So after the brush was sunk we headed to the glaze to start fishing, we fished for about 45 minutes with only one white bass to show for. So we went to head to a new spot and my boat broke down in the glaze!! Merry Christmas to me right!!! all in all we were ok for we were close to formula boats where i always go and recommend people to go get boats worked on. So we put the trolling motor down and headed in. Wish i could have a better report for you guys, but as we all know as fisherman these things just happen. I want to say Merry Christmas to all our Bassing Bob members. Have a safe holiday, and remember the Bassing Bob Tournament the on 27th!!
