July 14, 2014While Lake of the Ozarks (LOZ) is widely known for bass, crappie and cat fishing, many times overlooked is the popularity of Walleye fishing. Through active management the population of Walleye remains plentiful for anglers. In a continuing effort to maintain a healthy walleye population in LOZ, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) recently surveyed the Walleye population. Greg Stoner, Fisheries Management Biologist with MDC, took a few minutes to share with us the purpose of the survey and its results.
