I have not been able to talk to any anglers today. My guess is that moving baits like the spinner bait, crank bait (rock crawler, wiggle wart and square bill), jigs/creature baits and stick bait were the main baits today. The Alhonna tournament also allows the Alabama Rig, some of the other tournaments today do not, so the Alabama Rig could have a been a big player today in the clearer water in the lower Gravois and dam area. Catching one kicker big fish seem to be a key to being at the top of the leaderboard lately. Current leaders had a 5.39 Current 2nd place had a 6.75 Current third place had a 6.09. There were 3 fish that were over 6 pounds and 7 fish over 5 pounds. Thats nearly13% of the field that had a kicker fish.
