Tonight sixty-two ( 62) teams launched out of PB#2 hoping to claim first place with a four fish limit.in the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. The weather was perfect, hot and no rain.
Fishing was a little tougher tonight than the last couple weeks although there were twenty-seven limits brought to the scales. There were six 3 pounders, eight 4 pounders and four 5 pounders weighed.
The bass have moved out deeper, 10 to 18 feet, off points but seemed to be spread out possibly because of the continuous generation out of Bagnell Dam and Truman Lake. According to the anglers the best bite was jigs, worm and creature baits.
The current lake level is 659.19 with heavy generation and a surface water temperature of 78 to 80 degrees. The lake clarity is mainly clear in the creeks and larger arms.
The Bass Cat Quest is not next Wednesday as announced earlier, but on June 23rd. sorry for the confusion.
