Apparently the 95 degree temperature kept several teams from fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. There were only thirty-two (32) teams braving the dog days of summer.
The big fish bite has slowed down, however there’s always a few anglers who figure out the bait and location. According to some of the anglers they caught there keepers on swim baits and worms, of course they kept the full details secret. There were twelve teams that brought a four fish limit to the scales. Four 3 pound, three 4 pound and three 5 pound bass.
The current lake level is 659.40 with light generation. The surface water temperature is 83 to 85 degrees.
